Meet The Care Team

Night Nanny
Alexus
I’m a Newborn Care Specialist with over nine years of hands-on experience supporting families during the newborn stage. My passion for caring for babies started early—I was raised by my grandmother, who ran an in-home daycare, and I was often the one you’d find rocking babies to sleep. Being surrounded by infants from such a young age shaped both my confidence and my love for this work.
One of the unique skills I bring to Nashville Night Nurses is sleep training. In every home, I prioritize understanding a family’s daytime schedule, and if one isn’t in place, I help create a realistic routine that supports better nights sooner. My goal is always to set families up for long-term success, even after my time with them comes to an end.
I’m married to my college sweetheart, and we’re currently expecting our first baby in July. When I’m not working, I love being outdoors—whether that’s hiking or adventuring with our two golden retrievers. Fun fact: before finding my true calling in newborn care, I attended culinary school!

I’m so grateful to be part of the Nashville Night Nurses team and to support families during such a special and tender season.
Night Nanny
Connie
My name is Connie and caring for newborns and supporting families has been my passion since as early as I can remember. I am a retired middle school teacher and have always loved caring for children. As a dedicated night nanny, I provide attentive overnight care along with practical parent education to help parents feel confident, and at ease, knowing their baby is in loving, capable hands. Outside of work, I enjoy playing with my five grandchildren, reading historical fiction, and relaxing at our Tennessee riverhouse.

Registered Nurse
Jami
Hi! I’m Jami. I’m from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University in 2010. I have experience working in the NICU at St. Thomas Midtown as well as in the PACU at Vanderbilt, across a variety of clinical settings. I’ve always had a heart for caring for babies and their mamas. From supporting breastfeeding and sleep routines to providing education and celebrating the tiniest milestones, caring for families during this special season has truly been my passion. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two sons. We enjoy playing pickleball, boating, and making memories with friends and family!

Registered Nurse
Joi
I’ve been a registered nurse for about 10 years, with experience across many areas of healthcare, including heart hospitals, home health, infusion nursing, and RN case management. Most of my nursing career has been in fetal–maternal care, where I’ve worked primarily as a clinical lead on a postpartum unit. Taking care of moms and babies is truly my passion.
My love for this field is personal. My only child was born as a micro-preemie, and the compassion and dedication shown by the nurses and NICU team during that time inspired me to become a nurse. That experience continues to shape the way I care for families every day.

Registered Nurse
Julie
Julie is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience supporting mothers, newborns, and growing families. She earned her BSN from the University of Missouri–Columbia and began her career at Baptist/St. Thomas Midtown, caring for babies in the nursery and later serving as a baby nurse in Labor & Delivery. Today, she works with Elevance Health as a High-Risk OB Reviewer for Tennessee WellPoint, bringing a thoughtful, advocacy-focused perspective to maternal care.

Beyond nursing, Julie has a deep heart for service. As a single foster parent and Safe Families volunteer with Bethany Christian Services, she has welcomed nine children — many of them newborns — into her home. Families appreciate her calm presence, gentle encouragement, and even the lullabies she softly sings during overnight care.

Outside of work, Julie loves travel, great coffee shops, karaoke, and getting lost in a good book, always bringing warmth and authenticity to every family she serves.

Registered Nurse
Kaitlin
Hi I’m Kaitlin! Born and raised in Nashville, but at this point I’ve lived in every major city in Tennessee! Following in my mom’s footsteps, I have worked with babies for over a decade and it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. I genuinely feel like I’m just playing not working. I love teaching families and helping them feel more empowered.
While I don’t have any little ones of my own, I have two kitties, Toulouse and Lucy Marie who keep me entertained on my days off. After having not lived in Nashville for quite some time, I am excited to rediscover the city and try all the new restaurants!
Working for Carla is a dream come true and I can’t wait to help you and your family transition into a new and exciting chapter of your lives!

Registered Nurse
Krystal
Krystal is a Nashville native and experienced neonatal nurse with over a decade in nursing and eight years of NICU experience. She graduated nursing school in 2014 and began working in the NICU in 2016, caring for newborns and their families at St. Thomas Midtown, Vanderbilt, and as a travel nurse. In 2022, Krystal returned to school to pursue her Master of Nursing, graduating in December 2025, and is currently studying for her boards to become a Nurse Practitioner.
A self-proclaimed night owl, Krystal thrives on overnight care and is known for her calm, attentive presence during the quietest hours of the night (powered by plenty of coffee). She is passionate about supporting families during the newborn phase and helping parents feel rested, confident, and cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, tackling DIY projects, and spending time with her dachshund, Rip Van Winkle.

Night Nanny
Lindsay
Hi! My name is Lindsay. I graduated from University of Tennessee with my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been a nanny in Nashville for 10 years and a night nanny for a little over 5 years. I am currently working on my Newborn Care Specialist Certification.
My love and passion of caring for babies comes from my grandmother and my mother (You guessed it! Carla, she's my mom--owner and founder of this company ;) ) who both worked with babies in the hospital. While I didn’t follow their paths in the hospital, I grew up around babies and always knew I’d find a way to care for them when I was older. I always joke that at 16 I was learning to swaddle a baby while other 16 year olds were off doing other 16 year old things! Funny, but true.

When I’m not nannying or holding a baby (rare occasion), you can find me hanging out with my nephews and niece, listening to kpop music or planning a trip to Disney World!
Truly, there is no greater honor to me than being invited into your homes to care for your most precious little one. I look forward to meeting you!

Registered Nurse
Natalie
Hello, my name is Natalie , and I have lived in Spring Hill, TN for over 6 years. I am originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan. I began my nursing career in TN 6 years ago. The majority of my time as a nurse has been spent caring for mother's and babies in the "maternal- newborn" hospital setting, including working in post-partum, well-baby nursery, NICU, and helping mother's breastfeed their babies. Although it has been many years, I still remember the compassionate care and support I received when my babies were born, especially my first baby who was born a bit early and needed NICU care. I knew I wanted to give back someday, to support new mother's and their babies, in such a special and vulnerable time in their life. Working in the clinical setting, and at Nashville Night Nurses, has allowed me to fulfill my dreams and support these precious families and their new babies in the early stages. I am truly honored to work alongside such amazing and loving families!
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We enjoy watching movies, eating delicious meals, visiting with friends and family and travelling.

Registered Nurse and Newborn Class Teacher
Rebecca
Hi, I’m Rebecca, a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience in pediatric care. I’ve had the privilege of caring for families in many settings, including night
nursing, postpartum care, pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric urgent care, and hospice. I spent 10 years owning and operating a business dedicated to teaching parents how to confidently care for their babies while establishing gentle, healthy sleep and feeding routines. I find joy in caring for newborns
through the night and in educating and supporting their parents so they can get the rest they need.
As a wife, mom of three, and dog lover, I understand the joys and exhaustion of family life. I try to bring a steady, compassionate presence to support and care for every family I serve.

Sarah
Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm born and raised in the Nashville area. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2022 and have been doing labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery since then! About a year ago I followed my dreams and started travel nursing, where I spent several months in Knoxville, Santa Cruz, California, and Hawaii!
My passion is truly bonding with mamas, families, and your sweet babies! Fun fact, many of the babies I've delivered in my nursing jobs, I still watch for fun to this day! I absolutely thrive on routine and love giving parents that moment of rest we all need!
My favorite thing to do is most definitely travel, I love anywhere warm with a beach, and have a passion for chasing a good sunset! During the fall you'll absolutely find me at as many Vols football games as I can get to!
I absolutely cannot wait to meet you and your family! Congratulations on your precious new baby!

Taylor
Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m originally from Massachusetts and made the move to Nashville in 2019. I graduated from Regis College in 2017 and started my nursing career as a mother/baby nurse before finding my home in labor & delivery.
After spending time at Vanderbilt, I began travel nursing in 2022, which gave me the opportunity to work in hospitals across Massachusetts, Texas, and Washington. I joined Nashville Night Nurses in 2021 and was so happy to return after moving back to Nashville in late 2024.
Caring for families during such a special and life-changing season is something I truly love. There’s nothing better than helping parents feel confident, supported, and able to soak in those first sweet moments with their baby.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me checking out a new coffee shop, planning my next trip, or outside with my chocolate lab, Dover, who keeps life adventurous and fun. Fun fact: I never turn down an iced coffee (even in the winter!), and I’ve yet to meet a newborn swaddle I couldn’t master
